The district land that was bought was not a community approved expenditure that put the budget in the red. It was not thought out well or a feasibility study was not done. There will be more expenses and problems with that purchase. At that school board meeting projected school environment will be going DOWN for the next 5 yrs. People do not have the money for this expenditure
The community did not approve this. The School District is pushing this on the community. The district spent money on elevated taxes to upgrade the districts HVAC systems and improve other maintenance items. The school district is spending just like the government and thinking it is no big deal. Time for some true review of what is needed.
Is anyone else concerned about traffic in Kaukauna? It is impossible to drive out of town on Crooks Ave/55 towards Kk the way it is, during high school start end and special event times. Also, I think it’s a bad idea having middle school and high school children in the same area. The opportunity for peer pressure, etc is too great.
